Grandma Hill's Funeral

Today was Grandma Hill's Funeral. It was a beautiful funeral.
Denny read a poem that she liked. He did a great job. My Mom and Steve came to the viewing and my Grandma came to the funeral. That really meant allot to me. Thank you guys for your support. My grandma was friends with her and her daughter Raelene. It was a really sad day. She will be missed by many. It does make me feel better knowing that she is with her loved ones and we will see each other again. We love you Grandma. Till we meet again....

These are pictures of her when she was younger. She is such a beautiful woman.

This is Grandma and Grandpa when they were married. I think this is such a cute photo.

Till We Meet Again....Grandma Hill

Denny's Grandma passed away this week. She was such a sweet woman. I love her and miss her so much. I loved visiting her and having our little chats. I could listen to her all day. She is one of the strongest women I know. Her husband (Grandpa Hill) passed away 4 years ago. Since then she has slowly been fading. That would be so hard without your partner. I have the hardest time when Denny is away for one week each year for hunting! To lose your soul mate, would be so hard. I miss her allot. She was also my Grandma for 12 years...what a great example she was. She was an amazing woman that will be missed by so many people. I do know that we will meet again. And what a joyous moment that will be. Families are Forever! Isn't that the greatest thing?! I am going to play one of Denny's favorite songs with this post. It is "Sissy's Song" by Alan Jackson. Listen to the words...It really hits the spot with how we are feeling.

Sleeping Beauty

My kids had little funny ways of falling asleep when they were little. Colby would always rub your fingernail or his fingernail as he went to sleep. He still does that from time to time. With Ryanne we have noticed she falls asleep in what looks like in a middle of a prayer. It is so cute....check out her little hands!

We have actually found her sleeping like this many times

My praying sleeping beauty

We finally got Denny to Cabela's!

Yes, Cabela's has now been in Utah for a couple years. And poor poor Denny, we have never made it out there. Everyone was saying we need to get him out there. So, we made a day out of it and went with my Mom, Steve, Kristi, and her boyfriend Todd. We were there for quite awhile. Oh...we were so tired at the end.

My Beautiful Niece Amy

Colby and Amy checking out the fish pond

The kids really like this photo...they were like "Mom! it is like the bear is going to get us!"

Amy and Colby being scared of the tigers and lions behind them...LOL

Me, Denny, and Mason in front of my favorite....the Elk. I just love to see Elk. Although I have only actually seen one in the mountains once.

Denny, Colby, and Amy feeding the deer...Do I tell them its not real?!

This was like the record Elk or something...so we made sure to get Denny's photo with it

I found the boys in this little tent display with beds...they were pooped. Decided to make themselves at home. (sorry such a dark photo)

This is what kept Ryanne entertained in the stroller. She hates the stroller but kept trying to pull socks off after she removed her shoes.

Denny, Mason, and Mr. Moose

Colby and his catch!

The fish they had in this tank...were the biggest fish I have ever seen. The catfish were HUGE!! But I was not able to get a photo of them, they were hiding in the back.

Here the kids are on their way home...we just recently put in a DVD player in the truck..Notice the boys not removing their eyes from it.

Ryanne does not watch too much TV...but she was really liking Stuart Little. It did not take long before they were all asleep. We had a great time, but am glad we do not live closer or we would be in debt!

"Sorry Wrong Number"

Amy got the leading role in the 6th grade play titled "Sorry Wrong Number" It is a play that was actually written for the radio years ago. Some of you may be familiar with it. I was able to go to her first show. They were performing for the 4th graders. She did such an amazing job! It was so cute. They were doing 3 plays a day for 3 days. I was wishing that they would have had a evening showing because I would have had my whole family go see it. It was so good. I am so proud of her. She did such a great job. I love you Amy!

Here she is on "set" getting ready to start

Here she is with some of her friends that were also in the play

Here is Amy after the play and she was coming out for standing ovation

Here is the whole crew after the play

Bravo Amy! Bravo!

Happy Birthday Mom (Linda)

Happy Birthday Grandma Linda!
Denny's Mom's Birthday is on St. Patrick's Day. So, we had a family get together to celebrate. I love Linda so much. She is such a wonderful mother. She is always doing what she can to help her kids out. She has taken turns with my sister watching Ryanne. For some time when Ryanne was born, she was living with us. She was such a wonderful helper. She would have the laundry, dishes, and dinner done by the time I got home. She watches Ryanne now...and I tell you what-Ryanne eats and gets treated like a Queen. I know she is in good hands. She is the cutest little Asian woman that I know. She has made so many changes in her life. She is an amazing woman. She was babtized a couple years ago. That was a great day. I am proud of her. I love you Linda!

She is turning 59! But then she said she is turning 58! LOL.....But then after we did the math, it is 59!

Here she is making her wish and blowing out her candles.

I love these pictures. It is hard to get all of us together. We are going to work on that. So when all her kids were there for her special day--I had to take a picture.
Linda, Dennys sisters Carolyn and Tina, Denny (tall one in the back)

We had such a wonderful time. Happy Birthday Linda!

Someone is spoiled...

Can I just tell you a story about how spoiled our little Princess is?

The other day Me and my sister were at a baby shower for my cousin. Denny was out and about with all the kids and saw a yard sale. Now, Denny LOVES yard sales. We have to stop at everyone of them. He has found really good deals....and then some stuff just ends up in our D.I pile. Well, he found this cute little patio swing for Ryanne and her little cousins. They got it home and she just loved it. She was on the swing forever. It became time to go in, she was not ready to get off that swing. But it was starting to get cold and Denny wanted to get her inside. Me--I would have brought her in and let her through her little fit and she would forget about it and move on. DENNY--he decides to bring the swing into our living room because she was not happy. So, he carried it into our living room, knocking off pictures and shelves off the walls. But, Ryanne is happy...she sits in that swing in our living room to watch cartoons, tries to get me to sit next to her for reading time. LOL. It is cute seeing her in the swing.
