Hogle Zoo

We made a family day and went to the zoo with my Dad, Sandy, and Lindsay with her girls. After the zoo we went to the park and had a picnic...it was a good day! They have made allot of nice improvements at the zoo. The animals all have really nice homes now...we were impressed.

Ryanne, Kamrin, Mason, and Colby. This was Ryanne's first visit to the zoo......oh she loved seeing all the animals.

Ryanne and Kamrin getting the princess treatment...Although my daughter did take most of the room.

Mason and Jaylin were also spoiled. Grandma Sandy pushed them in the stroller, the whole trip

The girls (twins) eating some cotton candy-they loved it!

These bears were so much fun to watch. They were wresting all over their home.

The Giraffe....one of my favorites

LOL....this made me laugh so hard...pretty much explains itself. Colby would not give up either, he pulled him all the way to the truck.

Check out the flower girls!
It was so much fun watching the kids see all the animals. My favorite was when Ryanne had some cotton candy and said "Wanna Bite" to the hippo...lol. Thanks Sis, Dad, and Sandy for a wonderful, fun, family day!

Fun Weekend at Bear River Lodge

A couple years ago me and Denny rented a cabin for our anniversary up at Bear River Lodge. We loved it and really wanted to take the kids up there. I was just browsing their site and found a really good deal we could not refuse. Told my Mom and Steve about it, they wanted to join and we got Lindsay to join in the fun! It was a great weekend! We did have some rain but we did not let that get us down.

Our Cabin!
It is so pretty up there...I just love it

Some of my most favorite people...Colby, Mason, Denny, Ryanne, and Amy

Denny and Amy...had some fun in the mud

It was too cold for swimming pool, but did not stop us! They swam in our jetted tub even with snorkel gear!

Denny and the boys just hanging around..

They boys again just chillin. We had some lazy movie time. I tell you, that was nice having some lazy time. Seems like we have been busy busy busy.

Ryanne LOVES riding the bikes

My favorite girls....so cute!

Me and Ryanne waiting for the group to catch up with us, killing time with self photos

Me and some more of my favorite Girls!

So, while the guys went fishing-Me, linz, Amy, and Mason wanted to go get into the hot tub. It was so fun and was sooooo relaxing. Well, then Amy started double dog daring us to get into the pool...that was not so nice and warm like the hot tub.

Here we are when she dared us to sit in the tub for longer than 10 seconds. After that we had to walk from one side of pool to the other.....LOL It was SOOO cold! And we could not get out, she double dog dared us!

Fishing Time

Me and my crew....

We had a great time. We stayed up the last night singing primary songs and giggling all night...until ma and pa told us to go to sleep....heeheehee. It was lots of fun and I just love it when we have family time. It is my favorite time of the day....

And then it has to come to an end.....

I am SO sorry it has taken so long to get through these photos and you may be bored at this point but it is really important to post and document these....we really did have a great time and each time I post photos, Me and Denny want to go back. I miss Hawaii!

So, Denny was on a mission to find sea shells for the kids from the beach. He found this shell. It was his favorite shell. And inside this shell was a crab. This shell was a home to that crab, BUT Denny was not going to lose this shell to this crab......They battled it out. He tried to get this crab out. So we put it in this cup and kept in an area of our car. We got into the car after lunch and checked on it. Right as we took a look it started to come out! I took these photos for the boys, thought they would love it...lol

After we took Mr.Crabs photos, he did go back into his shell and the battle carried on with a battle that yes, of coarse, Denny Won....

We went to a Luau at our Hotel the last night...it was so much fun and the food was soooo yummy. We had a great time but was sad knowing that it was our last night. I was really excited though to get home to the kids.

This guy was the host of the luau and was really funny. He was in the middle of his skit and was walking by Denny and said " Are you Local?" LOL....great way to end the trip. He was asked that questions almost every day!

This has to be my favorite sunset photo.

Me after the luau...really liked the flowers.

Well, on the last day....our flight was not tell later that evening so we just kind of hung out at the beach since we really did not do that much. Denny is snorkeling in this photo. The biggest waves would come over him, worried me. It was kind of funny though because all these people would lay out on the beach and these waves would come now and then and just go over the whole beach and soak everyone. LMAO-It was funny.

Me and Denny...I would say got a hang of our self portrait photos

We were driving around killing time before the airport and found this really pretty waterfall viewing area. We found these baby chicks following their mom around...So cute! We saw chickens EVERYWHERE there.

Pretty waterfall

On the other side of waterfall was this river and like little hidden village, we thought was really neat

River and hidden village

LETS HAVE A LUAU!!!
After we got back we really wanted to have our own luau with family and show our photos and talk out our vacation. It was such a great time. The only thing Mason wanted us to bring back was coconuts. He wanted to try to open one so bad and drink the milk from it. So, since we could not bring back Hawaiin coconuts on plane, we stopped by store and bought some for the luau. And lots of other yummy foods like pineapples and salads with our dressing we brought back from Hawaii that we fell in love with.

Ryanne with her hula outfit on....lol. She was so cute and gave us the greatest welcome home. I could here her screaming our names from the driveway when we pulled up. I missed them so much

Denny giving his lecture on what he learned about pineapples and coconuts

Denny getting ready to show how to crack open coconut.

Well Mason was not fan of the coconut juice, but loved shaving the coconut out

Amy, my beautiful Wahine

Mason and Jaylin did some hula entertaining for us...it was super cute

I am so glad to be home...would love to take the kids back sometime. I would like to thank everyone that helped with house, dogs, and kids while we were gone. My mother-in law was such a wonderful babysitter. The house was nice and clean when I got home and she took great care of the kids. Amy was a great help too. She and the kids had made such cute posters for us. I missed EVERYONE...I really really did. That is the one thing we were missing was family and friends. (Not that I did not enjoy alone time with hubby lol)

THE END!
