A camping we will go, bike races at Knolls, Mason turns 8! Ambulance takes my sister to hospital

PHOTO OVERLOAD!!!!
We decided to go to Knolls (it is on the way to Wendover) for Mason's EIGHT birthday! He wanted to go camping for his birthday and we are fans of Knolls. It has some good (mild) sand dunes for us. It was a fun birthday party for Mason. I can not believe he is 8 years old. He is going to be baptised next month! I am so proud of him and love him so much. The weekend was going really good and we were all having a great time....until a ranger came over to us to let us know they are taking Lindsay in an ambulance to a hospital in Tooele. Lindsay and Jason were in a four wheeler accident. We all started to worry. They said she hit her head and hurt her back pretty bad. She was able to come back later that night. She is going to be OK....just going to be really really sore for some time. She is so lucky. And we feel really blessed that she ended up walking out of the hospital. She scared us for a moment.

The Twins! Ryanne with her cousin Kamrin

This was Ryanne's first camping trip with us this year...I tell you what, she was a born camper!
It was so cute, when we were getting all ready for bed, she climbed up onto mine and Denny's bed and made herself at home.....went right to sleep!

This present was from his dad obviously

She is ready to ride..

My Beautiful Girls

Ryanne grabbed this helmet and put it on herself to get on the bike, on backwards

Little girl with BIG helmet...LOL

This is us checking out the spot that Lindsay and Jason crashed....they wanted to show it to us. It was the smallest dune out there. Just was approached at bad angle with some bad speed.

I am so glad that they are OK. I love both of them so much. Except for them getting hurt.....we did have a wonderful, fun, crazy, silly, adventurous, joyous Family Time weekend. This family does not know how to do it any other way....;)
Happy Birthday Mason! I can not believe you are 8 years old. I am proud of you and the choices you have made. You are such a character. You have such a big heart for your sister. We love you buddy....Happy Birthday!

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We had a Birthday party at my house for my 2 nieces, Jaylin and Karmin. (Lindsay's girls) Jaylin is now 6 years old and Kamrin is 2. That was fun. Then on Easter Sunday my Dad and Sandy planned a fun picnic at the park with an egg hunt for the kids. It was a little chilly that day, but we still had a blast!

Here is Ryanne in her pretty Easter dress. She is looking at the stuff that the Easter bunny brought the family.

Ryanne bushing her teeth, getting ready for church

Colby already for church....waiting on us girls. (Mason did not want picture taken and Amy was at her mom's and met up with us later)

We also flew some kites...That was entertainment right there

Sand Dunes!

We went camping over the weekend. We went to the Sand Dunes. It was soooo much fun! We had a blast. We knew we were crazy going down there. The weather was not looking good. But we were getting very antsy to get our trailer out and go camping. We decided to keep Ryanne home to spend some one on one time with Grandma Linda. We knew it was not going to be warm enough for her. We thought it worst comes to worst and if it rains and rains, I bought lots of family games to play in the trailer if needed. It ended up not being needed! We were hardly in the trailer. I just think my family rocks! They never complained about the temp. They were troopers. It was a little cold Saturday morning. Then as long as we had a fire going, we were just fine. Denny's sister Carolyn and her husband joined us. We went down and met up with some friends. It was definitely Good Times....Good Times....

This was Colby and Mason on the first morning. We had an issue with the heater that first night, so we piled lots and lots of blankets on them. I was worried about them getting cold, but they seemed to keep each other warm. This was an Awwww moment.

Mason...he is such a stud. Getting ready to ride.

Carolyn, Kim, And Amy just hanging by the fire.

Amy and Mason

Colby got to go with the guys for an early morning ride to the Dunes with a friend who just bought this razor. That razor was a hit. He was so nice to take us all for rides. He even let Colby and me drive it! Made my boys day!

Mason and his turn on the razor...he was stoked!

So, the guys got me to go out to the dunes. Now, I have not been out there in years. I usually just ride around camp on trails. I use to love riding out on the dunes with my Dad. I always felt safe, but now as I am older and have children, the dunes scare me. BUT, I tell you what, they took me out on the razor. It was like riding a roller coaster out there. I had a blast! It was soooo much fun. I did scream a couple times.

Now, it was Amy and Mason. (I told you it was a hit)

They even got my Brother-in-law to ride it. He thought he was riding back to camp. But they took him up sand mountain! He is the little dot cruising down the hill.

He loved it! He kept saying "I need to get me one of them!"

Now, this trip was a bunch of firsts for me. I must say Denny was suprised with what I was doing out there. Then, those of you who know Denny, you know he does not do good driving. He gets sooo tired. So, when he asked if I would drive home--TOWING our long trailer and with a four-wheeler in the back of the truck--and I said yes, he was pretty suprised. I was nervous....but I did it!
